Cranes
Hi-Tech delivers Computer Aided Engineering services for crane systems to analyze ultimate load, dead load, gravity load and vibrations. We perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on cranes according to their design specifications such as type of motion, dead weights & type of the load, location of the crane, geometric features and environmental conditions. Our FEA solutions assist engineering clients in simulating the crane behavior without relying on time consuming physical tests.
Hi-Tech’s CAE expertise in Automotive Brake Analysis:
Structural Analysis to estimate the load bearing capacity of the cranes. This analysis involves identifying the structural integrity of individual crane components using non-linear geometric and material modeling. The analysis helps in recommending new or optimized design using limit load and hoist analysis.
Modal and Buckling Analysis which assists designers in estimating vibration response of the crane structure under random loading characteristics. The system is exited with known vibration in all three directions randomly and response is measured. The buckling analysis assists in designing cranes optimized against linear and non-linear buckling loads.
Fatigue Analysis to estimate and improve the useful life cycle of the cranes against cyclic stresses that promote fatigue failure of the structure, resulting from repeated loading and unloading process. It helps engineers in identifying key elements in the design that need improvements in order to withstand fracture or fatigue failure.
