Conveyors

Hi-Tech’s Computer Aided Engineering facility focuses on addressing vital challenges associated with the design of conveyors used in heavy engineering industries. Our FEA solutions are aimed at elemental level considering individual conveyor system components. We conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assist design engineers seeking end-to-end solutions for developing conveyor systems with optimized drive power, improved take-up weight as well as structural integrity of walkways, platforms and guards.

Hi-Tech’s CAE expertise in Conveyor Analysis:

Vibration Analysis which include dynamic analysis of conveyor belt system, Gearboxes, Winches, Driveline components and assemblies. Random and cyclic loading vibrations are carried out to see vibratory response of conveyor system and designs are modified such that operating frequencies are not interfacing with modal frequencies.

Structural analysis to simulate the behavior of conveyors exposed to different loading characteristics. Optimizations studies are also carried out to minimize the overall weight of the assembly and to save considerable amount of material.

Fatigue analysis to calculate and minimize cyclic stresses generated by rotating & bending leading to fatigue failure of conveyor components. Strain based calculations are also done specially for welds when loads are high and failure of stand or pulley system is expected in few thousands cycles.
