Hi-Tech contributes its Computer Aided Engineering services for automotive seating systems through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulation testing. Hi-Tech’s CAE Expertise in Seating System Analysis:

Seating systems are judged by the comfort, safety and sophistication offered to occupants. Seats must be positioned and designed to minimize driver fatigue and injuries during an accident. Additionally, the system must also be rigid enough to withstand the forces and loads at vehicle speeds spread all over the circumference of the speedometer. Seating systems thereby demand for extensive analysis to ensure their longevity and performance. We address these design challenges through:

Structural Analysis to conduct simulation tests considering the loads and stresses that might promote deformation of the seating system and affect its structural integrity. This analysis provides engineers with enough data to select suitable mass, ergonomics and crashworthiness of the seats.

Vibration Analysis (Modal and Buckling) which assists designers in optimizing the seating system design against vibration frequencies evolving from the cabin, road conditions, vehicle motion and occupant loads.

Fatigue Analysis to predict the system failure due to fatigue stresses induced by cyclic loading patterns, identify key design flaws and optimize the seat design to improve its productive life cycle.
